Ellie (Eleanor) is a graduate from the University of British Columbia where she completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Master degree in Management. As a child she was heavily immersed in yoga, dance, soccer and horseback riding, but ask her about most sports and she has at least tried them. In her spare time has competed in several half marathons and last year added Gran Fondos to her repertoire of endurance races.
Beginning her foundation in coaching with children by developing physical literacy and harbouring a love of sport, she has coached alongside her father for over 9 years. She completed her 200hr Yoga teacher training with RYT Naked Truth Yoga, 35hr intensive Restorative Yoga Training with The Path Yoga Centre and 60hr Mat Pilates training from Physical Institute with Marta Hernandez. Yoga has helped her to find a place of balance, and further develop the give and take between flexibility and strength – something most people can benefit from.
She is not afraid of failure, which tends to push her into saying yes to brand new experiences and crazy adventures, leaving her days packed with things she loves.
Movement on all planes fascinates her. She is driven to find a way to excite people into moving happily and easily, making exercise a driver for accomplishments instead of pain.
You can find her in and out of yoga studios, teaching fitness classes, riding horses, running, biking or in the gym always striving for a challenge.
