BKin, MPT, RYT-200

Physiotherapist, Yoga Instructor

Josh Chen obtained his Master’s of Physical Therapy from UBC, where he also completed his Bachelor of Kinesiology. In addition to his physiotherapy career, he brings over a decade of experience teaching yoga. This strong foundation in movement informs his approach as a therapist, and you can expect a hands-on, focused treatment style when working with Josh.

Josh takes the time to listen to each client’s story and goals at every stage of care. His treatments often include a combination of manual therapy, individualized exercise programs, postural retraining, and ergonomic education. He also offers dry needling (IMS) and acupuncture when appropriate. For those interested, Josh integrates yoga-based movement and mindfulness into physiotherapy sessions through his specialized Yoga Physiotherapy offerings.

He has a special interest in treating TMJ/jaw dysfunction, whiplash, lower back pain, as well as conditions affecting the neck and shoulder.

Josh also speaks conversational Mandarin. Outside the clinic, he enjoys teaching yoga, HIIT workouts, soccer, and discovering new restaurants.
