What drew you to this profession?

I was drawn to yoga therapy through a personal journey of healing and transformation. During a challenging time, yoga helped me find balance and peace, sparking a passion for helping others experience the same benefits. The holistic approach of integrating mind, body, and spirit resonated with me, aligning perfectly with my values and allowing for continuous learning and growth.

What lights you up about the work you do?

What truly lights me up about my work as a yoga therapist is witnessing the transformation in my clients. Seeing someone move from a place of stress or discomfort to a state of peace and confidence brings immense joy. Moments when clients achieve breakthroughs, whether it’s mastering a new pose or finding mental clarity, are incredibly rewarding.

What motivates you in patient care?

My motivation in patient care comes from a deep desire to help individuals achieve holistic well-being, empowering them to live healthier and more fulfilling lives. My big dream is to create a supportive community where clients can transform their lives through the healing power of yoga and yoga therapy.

Can you share some highlights in your background or training?

Some highlights of my background in yoga therapy include completing several comprehensive yoga teacher training program and obtaining my certification in yoga therapy. I’ve had the privilege of learning from experienced mentors who emphasized the importance of a holistic approach to health. Unique experiences like attending workshops on mindfulness and anatomy have further enriched my practice.

What's something people might not expect about you?

Alongside my passion for yoga, I have a love for working out and running, which keeps me energized and focused. I also enjoy traveling to explore new cultures and gain fresh perspectives.

Where can we find you when you're not at the clinic?

When I’m not at the clinic, you can often find me hitting the slopes in Whistler for some exhilarating skiing. I also love spending quality time with family and friends, enjoying good company and laughter.

What are your non-negotiable heath/wellness practices or rituals?

My non-negotiable health and wellness practices include a daily morning yoga routine to start the day centered and energized. I also make sure to incorporate regular strength training workouts to keep physically active. Meditation is a key part of my evening ritual, helping me stay grounded and mentally well.
