Chris moved from Penticton, B.C. to Vancouver in 2001 to attend university at UBC where he received his BA in English. As one of our Client Care Specialists, Chris takes great pride in making sure to deliver the very best experience to everyone attending the clinic. Not only does Chris represent the face of Sitka Physio & Wellness as the first person you encounter upon entering the clinic, he is also working tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Chris has worked within the customer service industry since 1998 and loves to interact with people to provide an optimal experience wherever he is. In his spare time, Chris is an amateur musician and nature photographer. He enjoys going on hikes and taking in the sights and sounds of Vancouver’s immaculate beauty and really enjoys to cook.

What are your top skills as an office manager?

I am really good with people and truly shine when I am working to make a positive experience for our clients.

What kind of approach do you take with clients?

As an Office Manager I really want to make sure everyone who emails, calls or walks through our door is getting the best possible service. I want to make sure everyone feels like this is a safe and supportive space.

How would a friend describe you?

Others would describe me as very nice and kind.

What drew you to this profession?

I lucked into it by chance!

What lights you up about the work you do?

I really like connecting with and helping people.

What motivates you in patient care?

I am hoping that I make a small difference in the every day lives of our clients.

Can you share some highlights in your background or training?

I have an BA from The University of British Columbia.

What's something people might not expect about you?

In high school I was the lead singer in a punk rock band.

Where can we find you when you're not at the clinic?

I love cooking and going to see live music.

What are your non-negotiable heath/wellness practices or rituals?

30 minutes to an hour each day I practice mindfulness as part of my mental health routine.
