Josh Chen obtained his Master’s of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia, where he also completed his Bachelor’s of Kinesiology. Having 8 years of experience teaching yoga in a variety of settings prior to his career as a Physiotherapist, he has a keen eye for movement analysis. This background as a movement specialist informs his treatment as a therapist, and you can expect a very hands-on, focused approach when working with Josh.
Josh partners with his clients and listens to their stories and goals. This guides his treatments, which include a combination of manual therapy, individualized exercise programs, postural retraining, and ergonomic education. Josh takes the time to connect with his clients so that their needs and concerns are fully addressed.
Josh has a special interest in treating dizziness/vertigo, lower back pain, as well as disorders of the neck and shoulder. He also speaks conversational Mandarin.
Outside of the clinic, some things that bring him joy include teaching yoga, running, biking, board games, and good food.
