Irene is an active and healthy Boomer who loves feeling well and sharing this with others. Her vision is to age well by remaining active, staying engaged, lifelong learning and inspiring her peers and others. After a very successful, healthy and fulfilling thirty year career as a senior federal public sector executive and manager, Irene has committed her semi-retirement years to her passion in wellness and functional movement. Irene has been a runner for over thirty years and used to compete at the Masters level. She currently runs strictly for fun as the Stanley Park seawall is her back yard. She hopes to be running well past age 100.
Another strong interest is golf and she belongs to the University Tuesday Ladies Group and enjoys playing golf with her husband Jim. Living in the West End encourages a very active life and Irene walks to the majority of her activities. Irene is a volunteer yoga teacher with the Robert Lee YMCA.As well, she subs YSculpt, Core Fusion, Hatha and Restorative Yoga at YYoga.
